GteachingAll Training Dept. Seminar courses are specifically designed for the residential custom designer/installer. They provide concentrated in-depth instruction on the practical aspects of a residential system as well as a solid background in the technology.

All TDS courses (unless otherwise listed) are taught by Grayson Evans. Grayson has been actively involved in residential systems and home network development and training for the past two decades. He is a CEDIA Certified instructor, Top-Ten CEDIA Instructor of the Year, and has taught over a hundred courses at CEDIA University, CEDIA Expo, EH Expo, and other industry events for the past fifteen years. newResidential Installation BOOT CAMP
The Residential Installation Boot Camp should be your first step to mastering the technical knowledge and on-the-job practices you'll need to become a successful and proficient custom electronics installer. Specifically for the new residential installation technician, this intensive one-day course covers the technical knowledge and skills common to all residential low-voltage installation tasks. It will take you step-by-step from prewire through final testing, covering exactly what you need to know. It also prepares you for the CEDIA Installer Level 1 Exam.

Home Network Fundamentals
The Home Networks Fundamentals one-day workshop is your first step to mastering home network design and installation. This workshop will give you a firm foundation in understanding the technology and hardware of Ethernet and TCP/IP based networks for the home. It also covers what you need to know if you plan on offering home network installation to your customer including WAN access technology, how to compare service providers, consumer vs. professional equipment, and network architectures to support distributed A/V applications.

Advanced Home Networks II 2-day course
The Advanced Home Network two day workshop covers the more advanced aspects of designing and installing home data networks to support everything from audio and video streaming to remote device access. The course covers what it takes to offer a broadband and highly secure data network integrated with the internet that you and your customer can use to support any present and future data network application.

Advanced Home Networks I 1-day course
This TDS Advanced Home Network 1-day course is a "subset" of our standard Advanced Home Network 2-day course. It is generally given at events where holding a 2-day course is not practical such as a CU On-the-Road even or shorter trade s how. The course covers what it takes to offer a broadband and highly secure data network integrated with the internet that you and your customer can use to support any present and future data network application. This is a shorter version of our TS-03 course, usually taught at trade shows and industry events.

Residential Retrofit Installation Workshop
To our knowledge, this is the only retrofit training workshop available in the world. It will teach you the best installation techniques and tools to cost effectively do retrofit installation of network and A/V systems.
     It starts with an overview of typical new and old house framing and construction to familiarize the you with locations appropriate and not appropriate for fishing cables. It then covers all the categories of special retrofit tools needed to do a first class retrofit and how to use them correctly, followed by demonstrations of the most common retrofit installation procedures you’re likely to encounter. The material taught in this seminar is not available anywhere else!

The High-Definition Display Technology and Calibration course provides a complete overview of large screen display types and technology as well as the detail steps in performing an accurate calibration. This course will teach you the fundamentals of analog and digital signal formats, different display types and the important specifications, as well as demonstrations of how to perform a professional calibration of both direct-view and projection displays.

Retrofit Tips and Techniques
This 2-hr. class covers the newest retrofit tools and installation techniques by retrofit expert Grayson Evans. The class will demonstrate new drill bits and drilling techniques, magnetic retrievers, fishing techniques, and a host of time saving tips!

Secrets of HD Display Calibration
This 2-hr class covers the "secrets" of proper HD display calibration, including the proper tools and set-up techniques. The class covers PLUGE calibration, color level, tint, and sharpness calibration, CIE chromaticity, color gamut, and how to properly perform grey level set-up.
